The Sony Ericsson C702, a stylish candy-bar design mobile handset that features a 2.2 inch TFT display, Bluetooth 2.0 w/A2DP, 3.2 megapixel camera with video record and auto-focus, 160MB built-in memory, HSDPA, and an MS card slot.

The Sony Ericsson C702 is a mid-level cyber shot mobile handset with a ruggedized back and in a nice sea blue colour; it is also resistant to dust and humidity and also now has Google Maps feature.

Two droolworthy mobile phones from Sony Ericsson will hit the market later this year. The C702 and C902 are the latest addition to the Sony's Cyber-shot range. The C702 is splash and dust resistant, moreover, it also integrates GPS with a range of location-based imaging services to add a new dimension to shooting and managing your photos.

The C902 comes with a slide-out lens cover and sports a 5.0 megapixel camera with Face Detection and Auto Focus features. It also comes with eight dedicated illuminated camera touch keys.

The C702 and C902 both place ease-of-use and best-in-class picture quality at the heart of their design. Both, however, appeal to different audiences - the former is engineered to let you shoot more pictures tagging the places where they are shot and the latter is designed to look as stunning as the pictures it takes.

The C702 and C902 Cyber-shot phones are

UMTS/HSDPA 2100 and GSM/ EDGE/GPRS phones. The C902 will be available in two colours - Swift Black or Luscious Red, while the C702 will be available in Speed Black or Cyan Blue.

Both handsets will be launched in the second quarter of 2008.
